The C Card scheme allows 13-19-year-olds living in West Berkshire, Wokingham and Reading to access free condoms and sexual health information. In West Berkshire young people can sign up and pick up free condoms from the Waterside Centre in Northbrook Street, Newbury or access via a number of channels including online at www.safesexberkshire.nhs.uk.

The Waterside team along with The Edge, the School Nurses Team, Public Health colleagues and the Emotional Health Academy will be in Northbrook Street, Newbury between midday and 3pm to talk about C-Card and asking young people aged between 13 and 25 to take a short survey. Anyone taking the survey will be in with a chance of winning a £20 ONE4ALL voucher that can be spent at a range of stores.

Cllr James FredricksonWest Berkshire's Executive Member for Public Health & Wellbeing said, "We're raising awareness of the C Card service to help young people make the right choices about their sexual health. We're hoping that by being out and about during the summer holidays we'll get to speak to lots of young people who will be happy to spend a few minutes finding out about staying safe, happy and healthy by taking our survey."
