What's your leisure?

Have your say

This consultation is closed.

People in West Berkshire are able to enjoy a wide range of active leisure interests, open spaces and a beautiful natural environment. We want to be certain that these are available to, and enjoyed by, as many people as possible and that we're investing in sustainable assets for the community.

In October 2020, we consulted on our draft Leisure Strategy 2021-2031, which set out our proposed plans for the district's active leisure offering and where we could focus our resources.

You told us that the draft Leisure Strategy did not include all the types of active leisure that you take part in and we now want to know more about what you like to do, and what stops you doing more.

Why we want your views

To make sure that our strategy enables people to be more active in the community, and in leisure activities that make them happy, we'd like to learn more about the active leisure pursuits you enjoy, and what stops you from taking part. We'd also like to understand whether your leisure activity has changed as a result of Covid.

How to take part

If you'd like to tell us about the active leisure pursuits that are important to you, please complete our survey by midnight on Sunday, 5 September 2021, which should take about 10 minutes.

If you have any questions about the consultation, please contact the Principal Policy Officer for Culture and Leisure.

What happens next

Your feedback will be taken into consideration and used to further inform the final Leisure Strategy 2021-2031 which will be considered by elected members at the Executive Meeting in early 2022.

Following this, the final strategy will be published on our Strategies, Policies and Plans webpage.
