The 18th annual Learner Achievement Awards ceremony was held on 12 November. The awards celebrate the success of adult learning in West Berkshire and cover a range of provision, including apprenticeships, professional qualifications, and health and wellbeing courses.

Due to the recent rise in Covid-19 cases the ceremony had to be quickly moved online but this did not dampen the enthusiasm of the award winners and their guests. The ceremony opened with a motivating speech from Louise Sugden, Tokyo Paralympian medallist, who talked about her Paralympic journey as well as her own success as an adult learner qualifying as an accountant at the age of 30.
