West Berkshire Libraries launch new interactive app

Your Library in One App

2021 Libraries App Graphic SMALL

Issued on: 1 April 2021

West Berkshire Libraries has launched a new initiative giving customers access to 'Your Library in One App'.

The free app is a quick and easy way for library users to search the catalogue, renew and reserve books and keep up to date with news from the Library service without the need for additional hardware or website logins.

Once downloaded to a smartphone or other mobile device, users will also have instant access to the extensive collection of free e-books, e-magazines, e-newspapers and audiobooks.

Customers who regularly enjoy the e-books and audiobooks via the West Berkshire Libraries suppliers BorrowBox and Libby by OverDrive will benefit from having all of the extra functionality in one app! They can even manage multiple accounts which may be useful for those with children or relatives who need some additional help.

Download the app from the Apple app store and Google Play store by searching for West Berkshire Libraries. Customers who have a Kindle tablet (such as Kindle Fire), can download the app from Amazon.

Anyone who is not already a member of the library, can join online to get free, instant access to the e-library. For details visit www.westberks.gov.uk/libraries

Library members can reset their library PIN at https://westberks.spydus.co.uk/pin.
