Oxford Road, Chieveley - proposed 50mph speed limit

Proposal to introduce 50mph speed limit on Oxford Road in Chieveley

The Speed Limit Review Task Group, held on 17th October 2018, considered a request to lower the speed limit on Oxford Road between Graces Lane and (approx) Tudor Ave from derestricted to 50mph. These changes are proposed in the interests of road safety to reduce the speed of traffic on the Oxford Road between Chieveley and Beedon. The Order would form a consistent method of speed management for the Oxford Road at this locality.

This proposal was approved by the Task Group, and we would like your views on the proposal.
