West Berkshire Council has launched a new email subscription service to make it easier for residents to receive news and information about council services.

It's easy to subscribe - simply fill in your email address and select the topics you would like to hear more about. You can manage your preferences at any time through the link above or by following links in the emails you receive.

The first newsletter was launched in April to help keep residents informed about changes to services and the latest health advice in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is now being expanded as part of the Council's ongoing commitment to ensure residents are informed of, and engaged in our work.

Speaking about the newsletters Councillor Lynne Doherty, Leader of West Berkshire Council said:

"I'm delighted that we are able to introduce this new service and make it easier for people to keep in touch with what the Council is doing. Residents can sign-up to receive a regular news round-up as well as alerts on specific topics of their choice. We hope residents and businesses will subscribe to actively engage with us about the services we provide, and bring the relationship between the council and the communities it serves closer together."

The service is provided by a platform called GovDelivery, which is used by more than 300 public sector organisations in the UK and Europe, with over £13 million subscribers. GovDelivery is GDPR compliant and residents are assured that their data is safe.

If you already receive the newsletters and have feedback to share please get in touch with us.
