Functional Economic Market Area (FEMA) and Economic Development Needs Assessment (EDNA)

The Thames Valley Business Barometer

The Thames Valley Business Barometer is a collaboration between BDO and marketing firm C8 Consulting.  It's a report providing a twice yearly snapshot of business confidence and performance in the Thames Valley. The results offer insight into business trends across the region and help inform decisions on growth, investment and employment.

Town Centre Footfall

Footfall monitoring in Newbury is undertaken by Newbury Business Improvement District (BID), using a real-time camera in Northbrook Street. See the Vist Newbury website for more details on footfall.

From 2016, monitoring in Hungerford and Thatcham was stopped due to budgetary constraints and there are no plans to re-instate this in the future.
