Weekly Covid-19 Surveillance Report

How many cases of Covid-19 have there been in West Berkshire? How many people have died from Covid-19 in West Berkshire?

Using the dashboard's interactive map, residents can search for results in their area and compare them with statistics for the rest of the county, the South East region and England as a whole. Data on the place of death for West Berkshire residents who have died from Covid-19 is also available on this website.

On the 'My Local Area' section of the website, users can enter their full postcode for information on the Government's rules and guidance for Covid-19.

Simply enter your postcode (or zoom in on the map) to find out the rate of cases in your area and surrounding "Middle Super Output Areas" (MSOAs). In some areas, the MSOA has the same boundary as an electoral Ward, but it can be different. You can read more on the House of Commons Library MSOA names webpage.






We now have local data available at electoral ward level (rather than MSOA). If you have been unable to use the interactive map, the number of cases of Covid-19 for each electoral Ward in West Berkshire is provided in the chart below.  

This analysis now looks at a 4-weekly period in the first graphs (blue) to ensure that data can be shown and not suppressed. Data relating to each Electoral Ward has been rounded to the nearest 5 in order to protect the identity of individuals. Caution should be taken with this information, as it will be based on small numbers and can fluctuate.
