West Berkshire Council

Bidding for CIL Funds

Second round of CIL bid process for 2022/23

West Berkshire District Council (WBDC) is now accepting bids for Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023. Up to £500,000 has been set aside to be used to "ensure sustainable services through innovation and partnerships" by allocating funding for community groups to bid to support the Adopted Local Plan and Infrastructure Delivery Plan Implications and Impact Assessment. This allocation will come from the 10% strategic CIL pot allocated for 'Other Services.'

Bidding is separate to the allocation of Strategic CIL and is therefore open to community groups and other infrastructure providers/partners in West Berkshire, ward members, town and parish councils and organisations that wish to deliver infrastructure that will benefit the residents and businesses of the area but primarily help support the infrastructure required to deliver the development plan. Bids from £10,000 to £100,000 will be assessed through this CIL Fund bidding process.
