Paying Your Community Infrastructure Levy Charges

Ways to pay your CIL charges

You can make a CIL payment several ways:

  • BACS and online banking - please use the CIL demand notice/invoice number as the payment reference.
  • By cheque - cheques should be made payable to West Berkshire District Council, and sent to the Development Contributions Team our Market Street Offices, Newbury, RG14 5LD. Please include the demand notice/invoice number (and planning application number) on the reverse of the cheque.
  • Phone - payment over the phone can be taken. Please contact the CIL Team on 01635 503030 for further instructions.  

If you do not use the correct CIL reference number when making a payment, it could delay acknowledgement of your payment and may result in further payment requests.
