Yattendon 30mph and 40mph speed limit

Proposal to introduce a 40mph buffer zone and village gateway features in Yattendon

This consultation is closed.

The Speed Limit Review Task Group, held on 10 October 2017, considered a request from Yattendon Parish Council who were concerned about traffic speeds on Yattendon Lane past the school. The proposal would adjust the starting point of the existing 30mph speed limit to a point closer to the school and provide a 40mph buffer zone that extended eastwards for approximately 400m on Yattendon Lane. Additional enhancements on this and other main approaches into the village would include white gateway features.

This proposal was approved by the Task Group, and we would like your views on the proposal.
