Commons, country parks and nature reserves management in West Berkshire

West Berkshire Council has entered into an innovative partnership with the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT), who now manage our commons, country parks and nature reserves. 

BBOWT have a great deal of experience in conservation, but also in making the countryside easy to access and enjoy for visitors and local people alike.

Although Greenham and Crookham Commons are managed by BBOWT, the Greenham and Crookham Commons Commission assist in regulating the management of the commons.
