Lambourn Junction Lambourn residents Anna, Helen and Julie, set up The Junction. Based at Memorial Hall in the heart of Lambourn, The Junction operates a 'no-questions asked' service, delivering free food & essentials to anybody who needs it. They have received a huge number of donations from Lambourn residents, businesses and the surrounding areas, working closely in partnership with West Berkshire Council, local foodbanks, and other essential services.
The Junction with Cllr Howard Woollaston Not all services are operating in the way that they were before COVID-19, and the community has come together in an unprecedented way to close the gap. Anna and the rest of the team have faced a number of challenges whilst setting up the Lambourn which they have overcome, developing a local system to communicate information about the junction, collect and distribute items, maintaining social distancing guidelines when donating items, and disinfecting items on receipt.
