During this time a CAWB adviser will be on hand to offer impartial information and advice to people in the district needing support to resolve the problems that they face and guidance with a range of financial advice relating to: debt; benefits; housing and employment; tax and many other consumer issues.

They will also be able to help with: legal matters; immigration; family and personal matters and support for carers.

If a matter needs more detailed advice, there will be a separate room available for a more confidential environment.

Jan Rothwell, Chief Executive of the CAWB, said: 'We're delighted to be able to have a desk at the council offices. We're hoping that by also being at this end of town, even more people will be able to access our services.'

Graham Jones, Leader of West Berkshire Council said: 'We are extremely pleased to be able to offer the space to the CAWB. Having an adviser based here in the council offices will help increase the number of customers able to access their service.
