Parking charges in council car parks and on-street areas
Parking charges are on display in our car parks on a tariff board in each location.
Parking charges are also listed on each car park page below, along with information on how to find them, their opening hours, and any restrictions in place.
You can also see a list of all car park charges in one document [102kb].
Parking charges also operate at a number of on-street locations [19kb] in Newbury.
You can view a map of all parking restrictions in place in West Berkshire or read more about Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs).
Please note that the parking bays immediately outside the railway booking office in Station Road, Newbury are pay and display bays.
In Newbury, we have four pay on foot [12kb] car parks (where a ticket is taken on entry and you pay on your return).
All other car parks use a Pay and Display [12kb] system (where you pre-pay for the parking time you will use and display a ticket in your vehicle).
You can also choose to Pay by Phone.
Parking Season Tickets are available for many of our car parks and offer a substantial saving for regular users who park every day.
Please note that the surface level car parks do not provide parking for caravans or motor-homes and HGV parking is not permitted at any time in all of the council's car parks. There are height restrictions in some car parks.
