Countryside Volunteers

Opportunities for groups or individuals with our partner organisations or with West Berkshire Council

Although we don't run a formal volunteering programme, we work closely with our partner organisations to provide volunteering opportunities for groups and individuals.   The work volunteers do is invaluable to the way we deliver our services, and is hugely appreciated.

Volunteering is a great way to gain and share skills - volunteers receive the relevant training and support to make volunteering fun and worthwhile, and to provide individuals with new skills.  Most volunteer opportunities are flexible so you can choose how much time you are able to spend.

Each part of our Countryside Service uses volunteers - check the Volunteer Centre West Berkshire for opportunities, or get in touch with our services directly via their websites for more information:

Some town or parish councils may also need volunteers in areas related to parks and the countryside.
Get in touch with your local Parish or Town Council clerk to see if there's any opportunities in your area.
