How do I become an apprentice?

Becoming an apprentice is easier than you think! Get in touch today to find out how.

If you are interested in an apprenticeship at the council, then keep an eye on our vacancies page. We will post any upcoming positions, and you just need to apply using the application form.

An apprenticeship doesn't have to be full time, you will need to work a minimum of 16 hours a week but otherwise the hours are flexible. You can even do an apprenticeship term time only. It really is flexible and can work for you!

If there is a specific position you were looking for and you don't see it available, please get in touch and we can let you know if we have anything coming up.

If you are successful in your application, we will arrange everything with the training providers.
