Setting up an EHA in your local area

We are able to offer consultancy services to other local councils and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) to assist in creating their own versions of the Emotional Health Academy (EHA), catering to the needs of the locality.

Working with the EHA Training and Consultancy Team provides an opportunity for local councils and CCGs to:

  • benefit from an 'off the shelf' EHA service
  • understand how to sell EHA commercially in their area
  • have a go-to person for support and guidance
  • save money, as early intervention in EHA saves resources in the long term
  • support the wellbeing of young people in the local authority/CCG area

EHA Training and Consultancy Services offer three distinct services at three package levels with the opportunity to purchase additional support - bronze, silver and gold.

Packages include how to create a:

Triage service - this support shows local councils how to integrate their current mental and emotional health services into a triage service which sign posts to the relevant support networks for their area.

Schools offer - this support shows local councils how to set up and create a schools offer. Schools inside or outside the locality can then purchase the services of an Emotional Health Worker, who works in their school with children and young people with emotional difficulties. The service can then be used in the schools in a number of ways, including one to one support for a child and staff training and awareness.

Wellbeing clinic - this support shows local councils how to set up a Wellbeing Clinic where parents, residing in or out of the local authority area, can purchase specific support for their child or young person from the local councils Emotional Health Academy.
